For example, a company just starting out with only three product types could sell on a major e-commerce platform to leverage its traffic and outsource warehousing and shipping to third-party providers. As the company grows, expands its product lines, and increases daily order volume, it can consider renting a warehouse, hiring professional staff, and managing its own logistics.
